Rectal Bleeding

Rectal Bleeding is a symptom that there is something wrong with the digestive tract. Minor problems, such as hemorrhoids are often the cause of rectal bleeding, but rectal bleeding is also an early warning sign of colon cancer and other serious diseases. If you notice blood in your stool, or you have black stools you should see your Bux-Mont physician for a check up.

  • Diagnosis: You should see your Bux-Mont physician anytime that you experience bleeding or pain in the rectum, since it may be a symptom of colon cancer, and other serious conditions.
  • Treatment: In most cases rectal bleeding is nothing more than hemorrhoids, but you should always see your physician to make sure that you don't have a bleeding ulcer, colon cancer or some other disease.
